For five years running, the Clairmont Elementary School has participated in a community service project. This year we chose to join forces with Maranatha Volunteers International who are leading out in the relocation and rebuilding of a K-12 school in Choluteca, Honduras. Our job was to raise enough money to build one classroom and furnish it. We needed to raise $5,000! That’s a lot of money considering we’ve never collected more than $3,500 before. We are proud to say that we beat our goal with a tremendous $5,351.54! We’d like to offer a big thank you to all who contributed.
